6:08 a.m.: found property, Cleveland Avenue, a person came to the station to report there are a number of hypodermic syringes in the roadway, the responding officer reports he collected eight insulin syringes and disposed of them properly;
9:46 a.m.: assist other agency, Westfield District Court, 224 Elm Street, officers were detailed to attempt to serve a warrant of apprehension ordered by the court, the responding officers report the subject was found and transported to the court without incident;
9:50 a.m.: found property, Mill Street, a caller reports finding drug paraphernalia in a gazebo, the responding officer reports the caller surrendered a marijuana pipe which was disposed of properly;
11:43 a.m.: officer wanted, Brookline Avenue, caller reports two known persons have gained access to the attic to sleep there, the responding officer reports the trespassers were sent on their ways and the caller was advised to ask the landlord to serve the suspects with ‘No trespassing’ orders;
12:13 p.m.: vandalism, Montgomery Street, a caller reports his home was vandalized overnight, the responding officer reports the caller showed him the railing on the front steps had been knocked over, the officer reports the resident has a security video which will be reviewed in an attempt to identify the suspect seen in the video;
12:39 p.m.: larceny, Sackett Street, a resident came to the station to report copper piping was stolen from an occupied building, the responding officer reports that a property manager said that a tenant complained that the water had been shut off and he investigated to find copper piping had been removed from the basement, the man also said that an attempt was made to remove copper wiring from a vacant apartment;
1:03 p.m.: disturbance, North Elm Street, a caller reports a known female party is attempting to instigate a fight with his friends, the responding officer reports he found two groups of three persons on opposite side of a side street, the officer reports one party said that his former girlfriend had created a disturbance and then pushed him, the responding officer observed a red mark on the man’s chest, the officer spoke with the suspect who said that she had pushed and bitten the man after he pushed her, the officer observed no signs of injury about the woman, Sierra St. Onge, 19, of 43 King St., was arrested for assault and battery in a domestic relationship;
1:18 p.m.: motor vehicle violation, Kensington Avenue, a patrol officer reports a traffic stop, the vehicle’s registration was found to be expired, the vehicle was towed;
7:24 p.m.: liquor law violation, Park Square, a supervisory officer reports three male parties were found to be drinking alcohol at the park during a concert on the Green, the suspects were asked to leave the park;
9:13 p.m.: fire, Old Apremont Way, a caller reports a bonfire near the boat ramp, the responding fire captain reports a small fire was found and extinguished.
