4:18 a.m.: suspicious activity, Riverbend Condos, 555 Russell Road, a caller reports he observed a neighbor’s car is propped up with a jack and a missing tire may have been stolen, the responding officer reports the vehicle was found to be on blocks as if someone had been stealing the tires but got scared away;
6:41 a.m.: assist citizen, North Elm Street, a caller reports she is locked out of her car, the responding firefighters report entry was gained;
7:14 a.m.: disturbance, Otis Street, a caller reports male party is assaulting a woman, the responding officer reports he arrived to find that when the female resident was separated from her boyfriend she said that the man had dragged her by her hair and had punched her, the officer reports he observed signs of injury about the woman and her account was supported by a witness, Christopher Berrios, 27, of 26 Otis St., was arrested for assault and battery in a domestic relationship;
8:40 a.m.: harassment, Prospect Hill Apartments, 33 Montgomery St., resident came to the station to report violation of a harassment protection order, the responding officer reports the woman said that the man had sent her text messages in violation of the harassment order, the officer reports a criminal complaint was filed;
9:51 a.m.: annoying phone calls, Sally Avenue, a resident came to the station to report annoying phone calls, the responding officer reports the woman and her adult children said that she had terminated a relationship with a male party in mid June and the man continues to call daily in an effort to resume the relationship and has come to the house despite a “No trespassing” order which was served in June, the officer reports he advised the woman of the process to obtain a “No harassment” order;
5:23 p.m.: assist other police department, Mather Street, a Southwick officer requests that a city officer attempt to arrest a King Street resident, the responding officer reports the subject was found at the suggested address and arrested, Anthony K. Mair, 54, of 82 King Street was booked as a courtesy to Southwick police and was surrendered to the Southwick officer who came to get him;
8:14 p.m.: accident, Cross Street Playground, Cross Street, a caller reports an adult female was struck in her head by a baseball and is bleeding and dizzy, the woman was transported to Noble Hospital by Westfield Fire Department ambulance;
10:58 p.m.: motor vehicle violation, Elm Street, a patrol officer reports he encountered a parked vehicle with revoked registration, the plates were seized and a message was left on the vehicle.
