6:24 a.m.: assist other agency, Williams Street, a detective reports he assisted the State Police fugitive apprehension team as they executed an arrest warrant on Williams Street, the detective reports the suspect was found hiding under a bed, Alexander James Bazanchuk, 25, of 23 Williams St., was arrested on the 2008 warrant;
8:54 a.m.: narcotics violation, North Elm Street, a detail officer reports he observed a narcotics transaction, the officer reports he observed a suspicious exchange in a parking lot and investigated to find one party was in possession of a box containing a quantity of marijuana, scales, packaging materials and brass knuckles, a criminal complaint was filed;
11:59 a.m.: larceny, Graylock Street, a resident came to the station to report his wallet was stolen, the responding officer reports the man said that he had been playing basketball by himself when a group of four male parties walked past the court where he had left his wallet and a bottle of prescription medication with his sweatpants, the man said that after the four men left the area he noticed that his sweatpants and other property were missing;
4:24 p.m.: suspicious activity, East Mountain Road, a caller reports two teenaged boys are looking in the windows of a vacant house undergoing renovations, the responding officer reports the boys had been smoking marijuana and a small amount of contraband remaining was confiscated and destroyed, the officer reports the father of one of the boys accepted custody of them and agreed to handle necessary discipline;
7:35 p.m.: disturbance, Crescent Circle, a caller reports a woman entered his house without authority and verbally assaulted him, a second caller reports a neighbor yelled at her daughter, the responding officer reports that the man said that he had been asleep on his couch when a neighbor entered and started to yell at him, the female party said that her daughter called to tell her that the neighbor yelled at her about her dog and she went to his house where she knocked and entered after she heard somebody yell “come in”, the officer reports the woman was served a “No trespassing” order and a criminal complaint for breaking and entering with intent to commit a misdemeanor was filed;
7:36 p.m.: disturbance, Berkshire Drive, a caller reports a domestic disturbance, the responding officer reports he learned that a couple who have been involved in a nine-year relationship became involved in a verbal argument over domestic issues which devolved into a physical altercation, the officer reports both parties showed signs of minor injuries but he was unable to determine who was the principal aggressor, criminal complaints for assault and battery were filed against both parties;
9:12 p.m.: fire, Elm Street, a caller from an Elm Street bar reports a patron activated a smoke bomb inside the bar, the responding officer reports that there were several persons in the bar wearing the apparel of a local motorcycle club who were apparently attending a gathering, the bar owner said that the person responsible for the smoke bomb had left the bar and his identity was unknown, bar employees cleared the smoke from the bar;
9:56 p.m.: accident, Hillside Road, a caller reports a single vehicle crash, the responding officer reports an eastbound vehicle crossed the roadway and struck a tree, the operator was transported to Noble Hospital where she was treated and transferred.
