12:27 a.m.: suspicious vehicle, Tekoa Country Club, 459 Russell Road, a patrol officer reports that he investigated a vehicle parked at the country club and found two persons sleeping inside, the officer reports that the two person were identified and were found to not be the subject of official interest, the officer was told that the young man had planned to have the young lady sleep at his home but his mother found out and ejected them both, the two were advised they could not sleep on private property;
7:11 a.m.: motor vehicle violation, Elm Street, a patrol officer reports a traffic stop, the vehicle’s registration was found to be expired and the vehicle was towed to the police impound yard;
9:23 a.m.: alarm, Woodcliff Drive, an alarm company reports an alarm, the responding officer reports that an inspection of the building with the responding keyholder revealed pry marks at a sliding glass door which may have been removed to allow access but nothing was found to be amiss inside the  house;
1:02 p.m.: robbery, Franklin Street, a caller reports an armed robbery, see story in the Tuesday edition of The Westfield News;
4:37 p.m.: motor vehicle violation, East Silver Street, a patrol officer requests a tow for a vehicle found to have expired registration, the vehicle was towed to the police impound yard;
4:58 p.m.: motor vehicle violation, Shaker Road, a patrol officer reports a traffic stop, the vehicle’s registration was found to be expired as was the operator’s license, a criminal complaint was filed and the vehicle was towed to the police impound yard;
9:21 p.m.: larceny, Lockhouse Road, the owner of a Lockhouse Road business came to the station to complain that an employee stole a company vehicle, the responding officer reports the complainant said that the suspect employee was not authorized to use the truck, while the officer was working with victim Chicopee police reported the truck had been recovered during the arrest on a warrant of the suspect employee, the owner went to Chicopee to take custody of his truck;
10:33 p.m.: noise complaint, Grenier Drive, a caller reports several high school youths are having a party with a bonfire in the front yard, the responding officer reports he found that the host’s mother had been asleep and said she had not known the youths were getting loud, the officer advised her that when she has juvenile guests it would behoove her to supervise them, the fire was extinguished;
11:18 p.m.: vandalism, Pochassic Road, a caller reports he heard a loud noise and looked out to see his neighbor’s mailbox had been smashed, the responding officer reports that the caller did not see who smashed the mailbox, the owner of the mailbox said that he does not require a formal report and will just fix his mailbox.
