12:02 a.m.: city ordinance violation, Arnold Street, patrol officers report they observed a male party walking on the Arnold Street sidewalk while drinking from a can of beer, a city ordinance violation citation for being a person younger than the legal drinking age in possession of liquor were issued;
12:30 a.m.: city ordinance violation, Thomas Street, a patrol officer reports he observed a pedestrian on Thomas Street turn toward a building and urinate against the wall, a city ordinance violation citation was issued;
12:36 a.m.: larceny, Hedges Avenue, a caller reports members of a group of youths seen in the area took a bicycle from a nursing home and left the area, the responding officer reports a search of the area revealed the bike on St. Dennis Street, the responding officer reports that the bike was returned but no suspects were found;
1:20 a. m.: city ordinance violation, Church Street, patrol officers report they observed a male party walking on the municipal parking lots with an open can of beer, a city ordinance violation citation for possession of an open container of alcohol in public issued;
1:33 a.m.: vandalism, Arnold Street, a supervisory officer reports that he was looking at a large window with existing spider web cracking from an earlier impact when a large portion of the glass fell, the officer reports that there was no new impact to the window to cause the glass to fall and no pedestrians were injured;
3:53 a.m.: weather complaint, Montgomery Road at West Road, a caller reports a tree and power lines are down, the responding officer reports that it appears that power is interrupted on North and Montgomery roads, the G&E was notified and dispatched a crew;
8:05 a.m.: vandalism, Lincoln Street, a caller reports Halloween decorations were stolen and damaged, the caller does not require a formal report;
9:18 a.m.: well-being check, Frederick Street, a caller reports two children, aged two and three-years-old, who appear to be unattended, are running and crying in common hallways of a multi-family house, the caller said that before police arrived the mother came home and took the children inside, the responding officer reports the mother was uncooperative in his effort to learn who had been watching the children while she was away, the Department of Children and Families was notified;
3:29 p.m.: recovered motor vehicle, Springfield Road, a caller reports she had reported her vehicle to be stolen in Chicopee but she knows who stole it and it is currently parked at a Springfield Road department store, the vehicle was recovered;
4:28 p.m.: found property, Shaker Road, a passerby surrendered a wallet found on Shaker Road to a patrol officer, the wallet was stored when no contact information was found in the wallet;
8:48 p.m.: accident, Shaker Road, a caller reports single vehicle accident, the responding officer reports that the operator and a passenger claimed minor injuries but declined medical assistance, the office reports a third occupant fled the scene of the crash and the K-9 unit responded, a search of the area did not reveal the person who fled.
