9:09 a.m.: found property, Washington House, 16 Washington Street, a resident came to the station to surrender a variety of unusual and possibly illegal weapons for destruction, the responding officer reports that his wife is the executor of the estate of the deceased owner of the weapons which include a miniature cross bow, brass knuckles, a blow gun with darts, nunchucks and eight boxes of fireworks;
11:09 a.m.: found property, Little River Road, an officer working a road job reports an apparently abandoned bicycle, the responding officer reports the bike was transported to the station for safekeeping;
1:54 p.m.: arrest, Evergreen Manor, 919 Southampton Road, detectives report they received information about the location of the subject of an outstanding warrant and the woman was sought and found at the indicated location, Samantha Eades, 24, of 9 Myrtle Ave. was arrested on two warrants;
7:20 p.m.: vandalism, Rachael Terrace, a caller reports the operator of a truck took a pumpkin from her step and threw it against her garage door causing a dent, the responding officer reports a search of the area did not yield any suspects;
7:33 p.m.: incapacitated person, Belmont Street at Kellogg Street, a caller reports an apparently intoxicated male party is lying on the ground partially in the roadway, the responding officer reports the man found lying halfway into the intersection attempted to stand but was unable to do so, the officer reports the man is a known party who was placed in protective custody, the man was transported to Noble Hospital for treatment and was returned to the station;
9:12 p.m.: larceny, Bancroft Apartments, 125 Main St., a resident reports via the online reporting option that jewelry was stolen from her apartment, the victim identified a guest who had an opportunity to steal the items;
10:43 p.m.: liquor law violation, School Street, the community policing supervisor reports he observed a person standing on the sidewalk holding an open can of beer, the person was found to be younger than the legal drinking age and a city ordinance violation citation was issued;
11:09 p.m.: liquor law violation, Washington Street, a community policing officer reports a liquor law violation, a city ordinance violation citation was issued;
11:25 p.m.: liquor law violation, Thomas Street at Mechanic Street, a community policing officer reports a liquor law violation, a city ordinance violation citation was issued;
11:56 p.m.: disturbance, Henry’s Trailer Park, 868 Southampton Road, a caller reports her boyfriend’s son beat him up, the responding officer reports he was told that the suspect and his father had been out drinking together and when they returned the younger man assaulted his father causing multiple lacerations to the man’s head, the victim was transported to Noble Hospital for treatment, Michael L. Slipkowski Jr., 29, of 868 Southampton Road, was arrested for assault and battery in a domestic relationship.
