1:26 p.m.: weapons violation, Sally Avenue, a resident came to the station to surrender his firearms because his license to carry firearms had been suspended;
6:42 p.m.: larceny, Mainline Drive, a caller reports property was stolen from his gym bag while he was working out, the responding officer reports the complainant said that he had left his bag in an unlocked locker while he was in the gym and returned to find the locker empty, the man said that the bag was found in the bathroom but property including keys had been stolen, the victim said that an employee reviewed security video without finding any helpful information, the officer reports that nobody who was at the gym at that time was able to show him the video;
6:57 p.m.: disturbance, a caller reports two persons are physically fighting, the responding officer reports there was no fight in progress upon his arrival and he learned that two 11-year-old girls had been fighting, the parents were advised of the incident;
11:53 p.m.: motor vehicle violation, Main Street, a caller reports a vehicle operating in the Main Street area with four-way flashers activated has a flat tire, is swerving across the roadway and failing to stop at red lights, the responding officer reports that the vehicle was found near the address of the owner who was driving, the operator displayed the classic symptoms of alcohol intoxication and failed a field sobriety test, Ashis Katuwal, 22, of 124 Franklin St., Westfield, was arrested for operating a motor vehicle under the influence of liquor, negligent operation of a motor vehicle and a marked lanes violation.
