Hi! I just would like to make a response to the woman that said there’s no birds or no squirrels. Well, I’m experiencing the same thing. I live up on Prospect Hill. I always had birds and squirrels – always. I feed them every morning. Now, all of a sudden, they’re gone. They’re not around anymore. But at night I do have what I call Grampa Skunk, a great big skunk, but he doesn’t make any odors. And I also have a gray I don’t think it’s a wolf, I think it’s a coyote, that come around so I still throw a little bit out at night for them. But, yes, I would like to know what happened to our birds and our squirrels. Have a good day. I hope somebody knows. Thank you. Hi! I called the other day about wondering where all the squirrels and the birds disappeared to. Well, one happy good thing is I had one blue jay and one squirrel come back but the reason I’m calling today is I have a motion light and I don’t always check it when it goes on because I do have cars that go by. But the reason I’m calling is if you people have animals you love please bring them in the house because last night it went on and I just happened to look out and there was a fisher cat. And they are very dangerous to the small animals. So if you love your cats and dogs and whatever pet you have, bring them in the house. Don’t leave them outside, especially at night. This is coming from up on Prospect Hill and it comes from Pine Street westbound all the way down Prospect Street extension, northbound all the way up to Russellville Road. My daughter lives up that direction and she has seen the fisher cat up there. So please, please bring your animals, if you love them, in the house. Thank you. Have a good day.

Hi, yup, about the dotted line behind Butcher Block: I just witnessed two vehicles, both looked confused, inches from sideswiping each other and I’m glad to see the other day I read in the paper that stuff is being done about it. It wasn’t me this time, but I see a lot of people and you say whether you’re smart or stupid with that intersection but people are confused and that’s the bottom line. Somebody is going to get hurt. Change it quick. Buh-bye.

Hi! I happened to watch a little bit of that Doctors show in the afternoon and they were saying how you should be persistent with your doctor and ask questions and want to have answers. Well, I did this with my urologist over at 10 Hospital Drive in Holyoke and I did this with his staff and himself because I was upset because of everything he told me was going to happen to fix me didn’t happen. Well, the doctor ended up quitting me. I’m not saying this to scare people away from asking questions and being insistent but I’m just trying to bring this to light. These doctors should be held to task. They should answer questions and they should not have the right to quit someone just because that person wants to care for their health and want to feel better. Thank you.

Yes, I was wondering why the citizens of Westfield are paying the mayor $80,000 to be on Facebook during the regular workday when he won’t even consider giving a raise to the teachers who teach his own children every day. They do a better job and are at work more often and devotedly, obviously, when he’s on PulseLine, to doing their jobs. He should not be on Facebook criticizing anyone when he’s not doing his own job. Thank you very much.
