Rams butt out

HOLYOKE – No. 2 Southwick held off a pesky Frontier squad for one half – the Rams trailed just 1-0 through the game’s first 30 minutes – but fell 5-0 in a West Division 2 field hockey semifinal Monday night at Holyoke High’s Roberts Field.
Alyson Barnes scored three goals to lead Frontier, the tournament’s No. 3 seed. Olivia Vecellio delivered one goal and two assists, and Lily Spencer scored once.
Southwick goalie Clare Stratton finished with six saves.
