SOUTHWICK – They did it!
Southwick earned a postseason berth in the team’s final regular season game on senior night at home, defeating Putnam 34-30.
Morgan Harriman scored a team-high 13 points for Southwick (10-10), and senior Mariah Collins, in her first game back from injury – she missed the entire season – chipped in with seven.
“The seniors are happy we won our lost game,” Rams coach Mike Gill said. “We will probably be the last seed and have our hands full (in the Division II tourney). But the girls set a goal, worked hard, and got to it.”
