SHEFFIELD – St. Mary scored in the later minutes of regulation, and fell just one goal short of tying Mount Everett on the road. Jack Lamirande headed in a corner kick from Drew Collins to pull within 2-1 of a tie. Unfortunately, for the Saints time ran out on a full-blown comeback.
“It was arguably our best game of the year playing against a very good team,” said St. Mary coach Bill Lamirande, whose team was playing without two starters Wednesday.
