WESTFIELD – What fun would a fall ball season be without a little bit of some All-Star type fun.
On Saturday, the local Fall Ball League for the city’s youth baseball players will host a season-ending hitting competition at Paper Mill Field.
The event will replace regularly scheduled games on that day and will be open to all players. In the event of rain, the contest will be moved to Sunday.
Preliminaries will begin at 11 a.m., and the players with the most points on their respective teams will move on to the finals at 2 p.m. Prizes will be awarded to the top finishers.
There will be activities for players and their families as well, such as wiffle ball, concessions, and raffles.
The Batter’s Box will have a tent with information regarding their facility and demos that can be signed out by the kids.
All are welcome to attend.
