WESTFIELD – WYF is hoping to see a strong city wide show of support for our Youth Football Teams that are playing this Sunday, October 27th at Bullens Field. Our Pee Wee Team (3rd & 4th grades) as well as our Senior Team (7th & 8th grades) will be playing their respective Playoff Games at home. Our Pee Wee Team starts their game at 12:15 vs. South Hadley, as our Senior Team will start their game at approximately 2:30 vs. Holyoke. These games will determine if they are to advance to the SAFL Super Bowls per Division to be held at Central High School in Springfield next weekend. Our Junior Team (5th & 6th grades) will be playing away this Sunday due to seeding, as they face Springfield CYO. Game time is 1:15 at Central High School.

WYF has had tremendous support from the community through the years, and our teams would truly benefit from a strong showing of support from the hometown crowd in their efforts to advance to their Super Bowl games next weekend. Whether our City of Westfield decides to come in masses to Bullens Field Sunday, or travel to Central High, our area children that have worked as hard as they have this season to get to where they are deserve the community's support for these upcoming games. Whichever games you choose to attend to support our players and teams, there is no admission charge involved, and great concessions to enjoy throughout the afternoon's games.

We encourage all to come out and support our youth players, who ultimately become our high school players. Best wishes for all three of our teams this weekend per division within WYF, as well as continued success to our high school program. Westfield football is strong, and even stronger with community support. Regardless as to youth football or high school football in Westfield, our programs are here to stay and contend at every level with their eyes on the prize.

To all players, good luck for the remainder of the season, and know Westfield is behind you in each and every game for the remainder of the season. Go Bombers!!!!
