NASHUA, NH – The Nashua Silver Knights exploded for six runs in the bottom of the sixth inning en route to a 7-2 at home over the Westfield Starfires Monday.
Dylan Jones (run scored), Kyle Sandstrom (2 runs, 2 RBIs), and Joe Bramanti (run, RBI) each went 2-for-4 to lead Nashua (4-6).
Thomas Joyce went 3-for-4 with a run and an RBI for Westfield (4-8). Starfires’ Sean Murphy (Westfield), Anthony Clark (Westfield) and Tommy Quinn each had a hit.
The Westfield Starfires return to action Wednesday at Pittsfield.
