Westfield Voc-Tech finally scored a touchdown, blasted a home run, and had a slam dunk – all in one game.
The Voc-Tech boys’ basketball team experienced the feeling associated with each of those accomplishments, defeating Pioneer Valley Christian School 49-30 for its first win of the season Thursday evening.
“I’m glad to see that our players were able to experience some form of success which resulted from not quitting and giving a full effort until the final horn,” Voc-Tech coach Kyle Dulude said.
Cole Provost (12 points), Matt Wood (11), and Nelson Roque (10) all reached double-digits to lift the Tigers (1-13).

“This was tough one,” coach Gill said, “but we’re going to bounce back,”
