SOUTHWICK – My, how a lot can change in a span of just 24 hours.
One day after running South Hadley out of the Southwick gymnasium, the Southwick Regional High School girls volleyball team experienced the other side of the coin.
South Hadley swept Southwick in three straight sets Thursday night 25-20, 25-22, 25-21.
Despite the loss, Kayla Andrade had a nice all-around effort for Southwick. Andrade landed two kills, made nine digs, and collected 10 assists.
It was a sharp contrast in results from the previous meeting, which saw several Southwick players emerge with considerable statistical production.
The two teams are scheduled to meet one more time on Monday in Southwick. Game time is 6 p.m.
