WESTFIELD – Volunteers are still needed for the Reach Out and Read (ROAR) Community Reader’s Day this Thursday, March 23. Books will be read to pre-k through 2nd graders in all seven elementary schools and the Fort Meadow pre-school program.

Join Representative John Velis, Mayor Brian P. Sullivan, WPS Superintendent Stefan Czaporowski, and many other district staff and community volunteers in letting the children know that reading is important from a young age.

To sign up for a half-hour morning time slot, call Tina Macy, Volunteers in Public Schools coordinator at 572-6345, or email [email protected].
