WEST SPRINGFIELD – The Westfield High School baseball team picked up a key victory Thursday, escaping West Springfield with a narrow 4-3 win.
Tim Donahue scored the go-ahead run, the game-winner, with the bases loaded in the top of the seventh inning at West Springfield Middle School. Brent Houle pitched the sixth and seventh innings to earn the victory.
