Westfield shines at lax tourney

WESTFIELD – The Westfield Senior girls’ lacrosse travel team is a force to be reckoned with.
Westfield dominated the 31st annual Paul Bowers Lacrosse Tournament recently in Somers, Conn. The Whip City girls’ lacrosse team outscored the tourney’s competition by the combined total score of 21-6 en route to an unbeaten 4-0 record.
Westfield defeated Granby, 4-1, Simsbury, 6-3, Somers, 8-1, and Hebron, 3-1.
