So, which of the New England Patriots next five opponents (Baltimore, Philadelphia, Dallas, Houston, Kansas City) is going to spoil a perfect season for Brady’s bunch?
While New England managed to go unbeaten (8-0) in the season’s first half by outscoring the competition 250-61, their opponents combined record was just 14-37. The only one of their first half foes with a winning record was Buffalo (5-2).
New England kicks off the second half of its regular season slate on Sunday Night Football against the 5-2 Baltimore Ravens before going on bye. Then the Patriots square off against the Philadelphia Eagles (4-4), Dallas Cowboys (4-3), Houston Texans (5-3), and Kansas City Chiefs (5-3) before gift-wrapped games against the winless Cincinnati Bengals (0-8) and Miami Dolphins (0-7) sandwiched around another meeting against the Buffalo Bills to finish the season.
Ronald Contois, of Westfield went 12-1 with 57 tie-breaker points to claim the Week 8 prize. Contois easily surpassed my 9-4 mark.
My picks for Week 9:
Houston Texans
Buffalo Bills
Carolina Panthers
Kansas City Chiefs
New York Jets
Chicago Bears
Pittsburgh Steelers
Detroit Lions
Seattle Seahawks
Cleveland Browns
Green Bay Packers
New England Patriots – CP
