Matt Lacroix paved the way for the team’s victory, scoring three goals and – with Craig Ward – dominating on face offs. Lacroix scored the game-winner on a fast-break pass from Kevin Papineau 10 seconds into the second overtime.
Westfield outscored the opposition 4-0 in the third quarter.
Ryan Wilson scored two goals for the Bombers, Sam Scarfo and Chris Pray tallied one each, and Matt Chlastawa and Kevin Papineau finished two assists and one, respectively.
