Contestants battle for supremacy

Beat The Putz PictureWell, Brady might be back, but I am definitely not. The Patriots might be piling up wins, but I have struggled on a weekly basis. My most recent effort produced a just-above-average 7-5 record. Congratulations to the masses (eight of you) who went a whopping 10-2, a one-week record here at The Westfield News. Nice job!
Jim Barna, of Westfield rose to the top with 31 tiebreaker points to claim a gift certificate to the Tavern Restaurant.
Barna will now join one of 17 finalists who will compete (by random drawing) for a flat-screen television, courtesy of Manny’s TV & Appliances.
Week 6 figures to be a fun one as New England gets set to host Cincinnati. Dallas, which has also excelled early in the season with a new quarterback (Dak Prescott) heads to Green Bay for a super matchup. Atlanta, led by a hot “Matty Ice”, travels to Seattle. And, in our Sunday night tiebreaker game, Indy and Houston battle.
Good luck!
