Dittrich’s hat trick propels Rams

SOUTHWICK – Southwick’s Tyler Dittrich scored three goals, and three teammates tallied one apiece in the Rams’ 6-2 win over visiting Easthampton, 6-2, Tuesday.
Bailey Emerson, Jon Collins, and Brian Sheil scored for Southwick.
Emerson, Collins, and Dittrich gave Westfield a 3-0 lead just 22 minutes into the game. Evan Haynes assisted on the first two goals, and Sheil earned an assist on the third.
Alex Reynolds rallied Easthampton with goals in the 32nd and 39th minute. Dittrich (from Emerson), Sheil (from Haynes), and Dittrich, again, from Ryan King, responded by combining for three goals.
Southwick’s Patrick King (4 saves) and Nick Chambers (2 saves) split time in goal. Brady Parker made 11 saves for Easthampton.

Matt Lecrenski, Dylan Buscemi, Brandon Castor each scored in Southwick’s victory. Castor, Dan McClellan, and Jack Lebo had assists.
Matt Lecrenski, Brett Geddis, Riley O’Connor, Will Pratt, and Chad Birchall continued to play strong defense for the Rams (7-1).

Meg Zabik (4 saves) and Tori Richberg (5 saves) split time in net for Southwick.
