WESTFIELD – Four members of the Westfield State University men’s soccer team were selected to the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) 2012 all-conference team.
First-team selections were senior midfielders Jon Principato (Stoneham) and Jared Spicer (Carver). Second-team picks were senior back Bill Reagan (Oak Bluffs) and junior forward Dan Brady.
Principato was the Owls’ leading scorer with five goals and three assists and Spicer was the second leading scorer. Reagan and Brady were also key contributors for the Owls, who posted 4-0-1 record in their final five regular season game to capture the MASCAC tournament championship and qualify for the NCAAs for the first time in six years.
