WESTFIELD – Westfield’s Annual Golf Course Challenge was hosted this year by Shaker Farms Country Club. Westfield’s golf courses – Tekoa, East Mountain and Shaker Farms Country Club – battled it out recently for bragging rights for the Whip City’s version of the Ryder Cup.
This year, Shaker Farms Country Club clinched the title for the second year in a row.
Each year every club enters 12 golfers. The host course changes every year.
“A great time was had by all,” said Shaker Farms owner Dan Kotowitz. “It is a sheer pleasure to see the golfers from other clubs get together in a friendly atmosphere for some friendly competition.
