WESTFIELD – New Hampshire proved it really is Keene winning.
Keene (N.H.) completed its unbeaten run through the Babe Ruth Baseball 13-Year-Old New England Regionals, shutting out Newton 4-0 Wednesday night at Bullens Field.
Keene, which dashed Westfield’s hopes on Sunday, dealing the hometown ball club a 5-1 defeat in the quarterfinal round, advanced to the championship with a narrow 1-0 win over Pittsfield on Tuesday.
Keene advances to the World Series with an umblemished 5-0 regional record.
