LONGMEADOW – It was a tough afternoon for the Westfield High School swim program as the Longmeadow boys’ and girls’ squads surged to victories.
The Longmeadow boys won 140-38; the Lancers won 108-78.
Nick Rosso highlighted the Westfield boys’ shorthanded effort with first-place finishes in the 50 freestyle and 100 butterfly.
On the girls’ side, Lauren Longley came away with wins in the 200 freestyle and 100 butterfly. Hannah Ditto (100 free), Kate McCabe (200 free), and Sara Russell (50 free, 100 free) posted Western Massachusetts meet qualifying times.
