Thankfully, the New England Patriots-Carolina Panthers Monday Night showdown was not on our “Beat the Putz” contest, otherwise, I would be disappointed with an 8-5 record in Week 11. It may only be one game, but I’ll gladly settle for 9-4.
I’m hoping to use reverse psychology this week when the Pats host the Denver Broncos in our Sunday night tiebreaker game. So, I’ll be picking the Broncos, but hoping for Brady, Gronk, and company to pull off the upset at home.
Congratulations to Elmer Johnson, of Southwick. Johnson put together a 12-1 mark to take home our weekly prize.
Johnson and anyone with records of 11-2 (three entries) or 10-4 (nine entrants) have been entered into our end-of-season grand prize drawing.
As far as the rest of the Week 12 slate is concerned, who cares? I mean does anyone in Patriots Nation really care about any game other than Pats-Broncos Sunday night? Manning vs. Brady. NBC Game of the Week!?! Prime time!
If I happened to offend any fans of the New York Giants (hosting Dallas) or the New York Jets (at Baltimore), I am sorry. Not really.
