1:25 a.m.: larceny, a caller reports the registration plates were stolen from his vehicle, the responding officer reports the caller was parked in a convenience store parking lot and said that the plates were stolen from his car;
3:27 a.m.: assist resident, a person came to the station to report that she picked up her daughter from a friend’s house and found her to be intoxicated, the reporting party said that the girl exited her vehicle and fled on foot, the responding officer reports the 16-year-old girl was found at the intersection of Church and Washington Street and reunited with her mother;
6:47 a.m.: city ordinance violation, State Street, a caller reports a car carrier truck is parked on the street, the responding officer reports the resident has previously been advised of the city ordinance prohibiting storage of unregistered motor vehicles, the officer reports a city ordinance violation citation will be mailed to the resident;
9:26 a.m.: motor vehicle violation, North Elm Street, a patrol officer requests a tow for a vehicle found to have expired registration, the vehicle was towed to the police impound yard;
10:43 a.m.: breaking and entering, Paper Mill Road, a caller reports he was away overnight and returned to find his door broken and his home vandalized, the responding officer reports nothing is missing from the residence;
1:03 p.m.: suspicious person, East Main Street, a caller reports a man is stealing clothing from a charitable collection box, the responding officer reports the known person was advised not to take anything from the collection box;
5:28 p.m.: well-being check, Whitney Playground, Shepard Street, a caller requests a check for a friend he said was laying in a tent and was wet and not dressed for the weather, the responding officer reports he spoke with man who said that he was dry and had plenty of blankets to keep him warm, the officer advised the man that he would have to find a new place the next day as the predicted weather would be a safety concern, the man said he would pack up and leave the area in the morning;
8:35 p.m.: motor vehicle violation, Springfield Road, a caller reports observing a vehicle operating erratically on Southampton Road, a patrol officer reports the vehicle was found on Springfield Road and its registration was found to be expired, the car was towed to the police impound yard;
9:01 p.m.: incapacitated person, Elm Street, a patrol officer reports he encountered a man in the middle of Elm Street creating a traffic hazard and refusing to get out of the roadway, Jacob M. Samborski, 25, of 13 Laurel Ave., was arrested for disorderly conduct, the man was found to be in possession of less than an ounce of marijuana and a city ordinance violation citation was filed.
