Monday, Sept. 23, 2013
1:43 a.m.: found property, Court Street at Holland Avenue, a patrol officer reports he found a bicycle which was transported to the station for safe keeping;
11:08 a.m.: motor vehicle violation, Main Street, a patrol officer reports a traffic stop, the responding officer reports the operator said that his license was expired but it was found to be suspended, Vladimir Morozov, was arrested for operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license;
11:08 a.m.: disturbance, Monroe Street, a caller reports a possible domestic disturbance in a vehicle operating on Monroe Street, the responding officer reports the vehicle was found and a routine check of the occupants revealed that the male party was the subject of two outstanding warrants, Anthony Ellis Williams, 28, of 8 Cycle St., was arrested on the warrants;
2:53 p.m.: burning complaint, Union Street, a caller reports residents are burning in a backyard, the responding firefighters report the residents were advised to extinguish the fire;
2:53 p.m.: assist citizen, Lozier Avenue, a caller requests assistance after locking herself out of her home, the responding firefighters report entry was made;
4:56 p.m.: administrative action, Edgewood Street, a resident came to the station to surrender his license to carry firearms in compliance with an order from the police chief;
6:51 p.m.: unwanted guest, Colonial Pine Acres, 50 Southampton Road, a caller reports that the subject of an earlier call has returned and is very intoxicated, the responding officer reports the man was obviously highly intoxicated and said he had nowhere to go, the man was placed in protective custody;
8:31 p.m.: violation of a protective order, Southampton Road, a caller reports her former girlfriend has been contacting her in violation of the ‘No contact’ clause of a protective order, the responding officer reports the caller showed him messages on her cell phone from the defendant of the order which was confirmed, a criminal complaint was filed;
9:04 p.m.: disabled vehicle, East Main Street, a patrol officer reports he encountered a disabled vehicle, the officer reports he found that the operator’s license had been suspended but he had already contacted a friend to come help him, the officer reports he found that the man’s friend also had a suspended license, criminal complaints were filed against both operators.
