WESTFIELD – The Westfield Voc-Tech girls’ soccer team has reason to celebrate.
Ashley Lees scored two goals, and Steffany Costa had one goal and one assist to help lead Voc-Tech to a 3-1 win over Commerce Tuesday at Jachym Field.
Marina Levkha and Alina Suprinchuk also had one assist apiece.
Megan Ilnicky was strong in goal with four key saves for Voc-Tech. Tigers’ Svetlana Shalyga and Margaret Mkrtchian played well in the midfield.
Voc-Tech has little time to enjoy the victory as the Tigers return to the field Wednesday afternoon against Hamden County Charter School at Bullens, beginning at 4:30 p.m.
