WESTFIELD – The Westfield Voc-Tech boys’ soccer team is rich in victories already this season. Some of that is due in part because the Tigers have learned to share the wealth.
Five different players scored to lead Voc-Tech to a 5-2 win over Smith Voke Thursday.
Dmitry Stepanchuk recorded Voc-Tech’s first goal 58 seconds into the game on a pass from Tyler Hall. About 60 minutes later, Hall tallied a goal. Dominic Rosario earned the assist. The domino effect continued.
With two minutes left in the first half, Rosario, who minutes before had an assist, scored.
Voc-Tech stretched its success into the second half. Vitaly Melnik scored his first varsity goal 13 minutes in. Alex Makarchuk notched a goal in the 68th minute on a pass from Hall.
