WESTFIELD – Westfield’s Rory Viale survived a tough match at second singles to ensure a sweeping victory for the Bombers’ girls’ tennis team Wednesday at home against Cathedral, 5-0. Viale won 6-5, 6-4.
Hannah Taylor and Nicole Kamal won at first and third singles, respectively for Westfield. Taylor won 6-1, 6-0, and Kamal defeated her opponent, 6-3, 6-1.
Kayla Therrien and Kayla Reno won at first doubles for Westfield, 6-2, 6-1; Bombers’ second doubles pair, Maddie Renschler and Olga Korobkov, cruised to victory, 6-2, 6-0.
