Atkocaitis, an All-New England softball player for the Owls, was playing in her first collegiate golf tournament. Pariseau has been a standout swimmer for Westfield State, who only recently took up golf as a secondary sport.
Williams College won the event, which included many of the top teams in the Northeast, with a two-day team total of 601.
The venerable Orchards Golf Club plays 5,675 yards from the women’s championship tees. The course hosted the 2004 U.S. Women’s Open and the 2002 NCAA Women’s NCAA Championship among many events on the Donald Ross designed course.
