WSU men places 17th at NE Finals

GORHAM, Maine – The Westfield State University men’s cross country team placed 17th at the NCAA New England Division III Regional Championships on Saturday, Nov. 16, at the University of Southern Maine.
Williams College edged rival Middlebury, 77-78, for the championship in the 50-team regional, followed by MIT (113) and Tufts (142).
Connecticut College senior Michael LeDuc was the individual winner with a time of 24:21.03 on the 8K course; he was followed by Williams’ Colin Cotton (24:24.08) and Chris Lee (24:41.16).
Sophomore Tim Shea was Westfield’s top runner, finishing 49th in 25:53.62. He was followed by Ben Parzich (96th), Chris Williams (106th), Cam Fairbanks (115th), and Mike Kelleher (117th).
