CHICOPEE – The Southwick-Tolland Regional High School softball team completed the first quarter of its regular season schedule with a 4-1 mark, thanks to a 6-2 win over host Holyoke Catholic Thursday.
Southwick’s Jordyn Willey recorded seven strikeouts and walked none, and Rams’ Sam Burzynski delivered a pinch-hit bases-clearing triple in the top of the seventh.
Four of Southwick’s hits were triples.
