WESTFIELD – Ali Stanlewicz scored two goals to lead St. Mary in a friendly battle against Westfield Voc-Tech Tuesday at Westfield Middle School North. The Saints won 2-0.
Jillian Watson assisted Stanlewicz with the team’s first goal in the 21st minute. In the 29th minute, Stanlewicz scored on a penalty kick.
Aisling Butler earned a shutout in net for St. Mary. Voc-Tech goalie Megan Illnicky finished with nine saves, including three spectacular efforts.
Julia Levkha, Cathie Iglesias, and Amber Lindsay contributed spectacular defense for the Tigers.
