Voc-Tech rolls over Franklin, 5-0

WESTFIELD – The Westfield Voc-Tech High School boys’ soccer team continues to roll toward the postseason.
Voc-Tech rolled past Franklin Tech 5-0 Tuesday at Bullens Field. Five different players scored for the Tigers.
Dimitriy Stepanchuk, Colin Fecteau, Laxmi Basnet, Ian Fecteau, and Greg Kravitz each netted a goal. Peter Makarchuk had two assists, and Stepanchuk, Colin Fecteau, and Alex Makarchuk each collected one.
“We’re really trying to close strong,” Westfield Voc-Tech Kyle Dulude said. “We want to move forward and keep playing.”
The Tigers, after finishing the regular season, will participate in a state vocational tournament before playing in the Western Massachusetts Divisional playoffs.
Voc-Tech finishes out the week with games against Sci-Tech (Thursday) and Ware (Friday).
