WESTFIELD – The Westfield Voc-Tech baseball team won a high-scoring thriller over McCann Tech in extra innings Monday at Bullens Field. Hayden Jasmin scored the game-winning run in the eighth-inning when Tyler French was hit with the bases loaded to give the Tigers a 9-8 win in eight innings.
Voc-Tech’s Joe Gaulin plated the game-tying run in the eighth as the Tigers scored two runs in each of the seventh and eighth innings for the victory.
Colin Fecteau earned the win on the mound for Voc-Tech.
