Wednesday’s 350 lecture postponed

WESTFIELD- Wednesday’s lecture for the Westfield 350 Historical Lecture Series has been postpone due to inclement weather according to the series organizers.

The Greater Westfield area is expected to get 2-4 inches of snow with poor driving conditions. In discussing the weather forecast with the lecturer, Gail White Usher, it was determined that, for the safety of everyone involved, to postpone this week’s event.

The talk, titled, ‘When Two Worlds Meet: Native Americans of Western Massachusetts,’ has been postponed to March 20th at 6:30 p.m. at Dever Stage on the Westfield State University Campus. She will be speaking about the relationship between the Native Americans that lived in what is now Westfield and the European settlers in the 17th century.
